I am so excited to announce that The Pineapple Cooks is a publisher on Yummly! It is always a good feeling when I find new ways to broaden my audience and share my recipes with more people!
What is Yummly?
Yummly is the only recipe book app you need! I have been using it for years and have never thought I would be on it but here I am! This platform is just like Pinterest or Instagram but for recipes. And they have tons of it!
Why do I need it?
You should definitely give it a try. It will make dinner and meal planning super easy. They have a shopping list generator, metrics options, and meal prep section which helps you personalize your recipes.
And if you are a creator, it is a good idea to sign up for it because it is great for SEO and audience reach. I mean, we all want more people to see our creations.
How to Become a Yummly Publisher?
Yummly is an exclusive platform so it takes a bit of work to get on it. There are several but super simple steps you can take and set up.
- Sign up and create a profie. It takes seconds – sign up, add your info, image, look around and get to know the website, add a bio, etc.
- Write a blog post letting your readers know you are now a publisher on Yummly. Just like I am doing right now. After all, you want all of your friends to know about it.
- Fill in this form – it will help the Yummly team set up and connect your profile.
The whole sign-up process does not take more than an hour. After that, you’ll wait a few weeks to get approved. Keep in mind that they won’t send you any confirmation so check on your profile every once in a while.
Oh! Let’s not forget the most important part!
The one thing I am most excited about is the Yummly button you will find on the top of my posts every time I post a recipe. You can use that button to save my recipe to your Yummly profile, extract the grocery list, or add it to your meal prep plan.
So if you love my recipes like my personal favorite summer dill-pickle pasta salad or this super quick and easy guacamole you can save it by simply clicking on the orange button on top of my post. Enjoy!
